Orono Thunder Soccer Club

Orono Thunder Soccer Club (OTSC) travel program is for players from age 8 through 17. Most of our players live in or near the Orono School disctrict. However, we accept registrations for any player interested in playing soccer with the club.

Our club participates in the competitive league within the Minnesota Youth Soccer Association (MYSA). Players are challenged to learn new skills and improve upon their playing ability. We primarly play against other communities in the western suburbs. MYSA membership fees are included in the OTSC registration cost.

Spring/summer travel games are played from the end of April through the beginning of July. Most teams play at least one tournament during the season. Tournaments are selected by the coach/team. Equipment:
Orono travel uniforms (home and away jerseys, shorts, socks) are required to play in our program. Uniforms are available from Planet Soccer in Plymouth, MN - 763.432.9534. All new registrations will be submitted to Planet Soccer and jersey numbers will be assigned by the club. Any "borrowed" jersey or hand-me-down must be approved by the club to maintain jersey number priorities.

NEW! - Winter Training

OTSC has invested in indoor training time at the 10dome in Long Lake. These costs are included in the spring/summer travel soccer registration fee. Each age group will meet twice a week to develop skills in a fun enviroment. See the calendar tab for additional details.
